Writing Your Resume

Writing about yourself can be difficult! Knowing what information you should include and what you can leave out isn’t easy. When it comes to nailing down the fundamentals, we recommend that you start in your college career services office.  Take advantage of all the resources already at your fingertips.

If you need additional assistance, here’s another good resource – The Purdue University Online Writing Lab.

Purdue’s writing lab is a great resource for learning how to format and structure your résumé. They have created an entire workshop dedicated to the process! If you’re unsure about where to even begin, this is a good  resource for you. Purdue’s resume workshop walks students through every possible step, including font choice, design and layout.
